Back in 1988, Dutch video game designer and entrepreneur, Henk Rogers, secured the rights to distribute the highly addictive Russian invented game Tetris on video game consoles and most especially Game Boys. Tetris would go on to become the most sold video game in the world for the next 3 decades being played on every video game console, computers, hand held devices, mobile phones, and more.
In July 2020, it was announced that a biopic was being made about Henk Rogers and how he secured the rights to Tetris from Russia and subsequently bringing Tetris to the world.
It’s a story that most folks would have disregarded without giving it a second thought, however, as it turns out, it’s a story fit for the Hollywood treatment and has been capturing the attention of cinephiles around the world.
